Hi. Welcome to Bioiberica manufacturing site. My name is Jaume Reguant. I am the Healthcare Director at Bioiberica. And today I'm excited to take you on a special tour around our facilities. We will focus on the plants where we produce our main pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredients, such as chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, collagen and thyroid. Ready to go?

First of all, it's important to explain that Bioiberica is a vertically integrated company with a solid supply chain so we can guarantee traceability and quality control throughout the production process. Our first stop will be this plant, where we produce pharmaceutical and nutraceutical-grade chondroitin sulfate. This ingredient is extracted from bovine and porcine cartilage and purified using enzymatic hydrolysis to isolate the active ingredient. The result is a very pure product that complies with the strictest monographs. Over forty studies have shown chondroitin sulfate to be safe and effective for joint health.

Mobilee® is a natural ingredient developed and patented by Bioiberica that helps to maintain joint health. It has a high concentration of hyaluronic acid plus other substances, such as collagen and polysaccharides. It is extracted from rooster combs and then purified and its nutritional and safety specifications have been tested over twelve years in six pre-clinical studies and five randomised clinical studies.

Collavant n2 is an ingredient developed by Bioiberica that supplies native type II collagen. It is extracted from avian sternum and produced using a gentle treatment of the raw material to ensure the molecules native form is maintained. Four scientific studies have shown that taking Collavant n2 orally helps maintain joint health. This is possible thanks to a mechanism of action called ‘oral tolerance’.

The active pharmaceutical ingredient, thyroid, is also from animal origin, extracted from porcine thyroid glands. All the raw material is from Europe and the production process is designed to ensure that the final active ingredient contains the right proportion of T4 and T3 hormones, and is free of any contaminants. It is a natural, safe, effective product that complies with the United States Pharmacopeia and is GMP-certified.
